NEWS - Feed-in tariffs - the Government has now published its response to the summer 2009 consultation. It will use powers within the Energy Act 2008 to introduce a system of feed-in tariffs to incentivise small scale, low carbon electricity generation by providing "clean energy cashback" for householders, communities and businesses. The tariffs are designed to provide an attractive rate of return on investment. We can advise how the tariffs will apply to you, but to read the detail, click here.
Renewable Energy - Design, Installation and Consultancy
Ecoexcel Limited is a Suffolk-based company which specialises in the design and installation of renewable energy solutions for domestic and commercial
customers. The business supplies wind turbines,
solar systems, ground source and air source
heat pumps, and biomass (chip, pellet and log) boilers.
The company is independent and
therefore able to source the most competitively-priced and appropriate
technologies for each application. This
may involve combining
complementary technologies, i.e. ground source heat pumps with wind
turbines, or solar hot water with wood burning stoves. We can design systems to work within a budget and are certified installers under the current government Microgeneration Certification Scheme for solar hot water and wind turbines. This certification involves the completion of a rigorous inspection and enables qualification for the low carbon building programme grant funding, subject to scheme applicability. We can provide practical help and advice on qualification for funding.
The Managing Director, Charles Dearlove, is a 44 year old graduate engineer (Bath University) and has extensive experience in a broad range of engineering projects. He has a "hands on" approach and is committed to seeing projects through from conception to completion. He also advises on a consultancy basis.
We are conscious that in many cases there is a requirement for a feasibility and design exercise in order to determine which renewable energy systems best meet the needs of the property and the customer. This exercise will include a calculation of return on investment, to illustrate how green technologies can work, from both an environmental, and an economic, perspective.
Where planning permission is required, we are able to advise and assist with planning applications.

We have been involved in community projects, and are able to source funding for such projects, via a third party.
